Despite the rain and wind, many showed up for the fun at Kuttawa’s 5th Annual Live on the Lawn and the 3rd Annual Oktoberfest. Organizers of the event and Kuttawa’s Tourism Executive Director Justin Kimbro that even with the weather, the event was a success.

Kuttawa Mayor Barbara Campbell invited Tourism Executive Director Justin Kimbro to discuss the economic impact of Kuttawa Tourism. In the previous fiscal year, Kimbro announced that tourism had set record-breaking numbers.

Kuttawa's Live on the Lawn V
With Kuttawa’s 5th Annual Live on the Lawn and 3rd Annual Oktoberfest on the horizon, organizers are preparing accordingly. “It is just going to be awesome. We have all new food trucks this year and just about all of our carnival rides are new this year too. I have even bigger plans for 2025,” Kimbro told the Herald Ledger.

Kuttawa Tourism Gives Back
With an inflow of individuals visiting Kuttawa in such a short time period for its annual Live on the Lawn event, it’s imperative to have local first responders on-location and on-call the entire time during the three days of festivities. KTC fundraises for that reason.

Historic Awards at KTIA
The Kuttawa Tourism Commission is delighted to announce a double win at the Kentucky Tourism Industry Association (KTIA) Conference in Bowling Green. There, Kuttawa secured both a Bronze and Silver Award.

Live on the Lawn & Oktoberfest Return
The Kuttawa Tourism Commission is hosting its fifth-annual music festival, Live on the Lawn V, on September 28 this year. The free music festival will feature some tribute bands from across America, such as Noise Pollution: The AC/DC Experience, Hysteria When Wet: A Tribute to Def Leppard & Bon Jovi, and Poet’s Moon: A Nashville band with original music and classic rock covers. High Noon Moon will also be performing, a local band out of Murray, at the Oktoberfest.

Cannonball Run Returns
Boats on the water are not an unusual sight in the Kuttawa community. However, once a year, the number and horsepower seem to double when the Cannonball Run comes into town.

Live on the Lawn Returns!
Kuttawa Tourism Commission is hosting its fourth annual music festival, Live on the Lawn IV, on September 29 and 30 this year. Live on the Lawn Oktoberfest is also back for the second year in a row, along with the annual Kuttawa Days Carnival Celebration! This event is located at Silver Cliff Park in Kuttawa, KY.

Christmas in Kuttawa
This past weekend, Christmas in Kuttawa came to town. Attendance exploded this year, with almost 2,000 people descending on the square outside City Hall. Families, friends and visitors of all ages came out to enjoy both new attractions and old favorites.
